i took this picture on sunday while a couple of friends and i ventured through the mountains. when i took this i was thanking God for His amazing beauty on earth and even though it is filled with darkness, He gives us beautiful things like mountains.
i was praying yesterday about as i move home in a few days, i don't want to lose sight of the things God has taught me and spoken to me this past year. He said 'let your life reflect mine'. i want to be a great reflection of what God teaches us and how Jesus lived when He lived on earth. i want my life to be a clear reflection of Him.
this move home has not been an easy transition. but earlier this week i spend the night with a couple of friends from calgary and was deeply encouraged by the dreams they have for their life in ministry and how supportive they are of my dreams and where God is taking me.
as scared as i am, i'm also excited. as hesitant as i am, i'm still eager. as crazy as this past year has been, i still have such a calming peace.
God is good.
"These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world." -1 Peter 1:7
